The Panigale is the latest offering to the superbiking ecosystem of this planet. Since a very long time I had been teasers of the successor of the 1198 leading to its launch at the YasnMarina circuit in Abu Dabhi where I couldn’t make it. Then I started seeing a few bikes getting delivered across the world in parallel with some amazing reviews in the global media. It was just too much and I hadn’t even seem the bike !
But the day I picked the Multistrada was the day when I first saw the Panigale at the Ducati Dubai showroom. It was late evening when, Dick V. came to pick up his Panigale Tricolore S, the top of line Panigale, after the first oil change. The bike was unmistakably a Ducati. It’s flowing lines, the staccato et al. The headlight were especially pretty impressive, a sea of white utilising all those LEDs.
Without much ado, let me allow the photos take over, but before that I have to admit that I am blown away by the patriotism and passion this company has to show such deep respect for its history and roots, so much so that it had named this bike after the region where the Ducati factory is based and was founded n 1935 by the Ducati Brothers. Not only this, their use of the country’s flag and colors all over the machines and merchandise is something to be admired.
Now I am wondering when I get to swing my legs over it!
